Draw rollers

Draw rollers made of CFRP/GRP and aluminium

Our CFRP and aluminium draw rollers offer ideal solutions for applications demanding maximum precision and dynamic loads. They are highly adaptable and meet a wide range of individual requirements. INOMETA draw rollers play a key role in industrial production processes, where they precisely control speed and draw while guiding material through the system. For example, they can be used to create tension in film webs to draw or stretch them, as well as to enhance material properties like strength, tear resistance, and elasticity. Driven by the material itself, they rotate at variable speeds and are strategically positioned to optimally guide and shape the material.

Precision and flexibility for tailor-made solutions – draw rollers by INOMETA

INOMETA’s CFRP and aluminium draw rollers are characterized by their outstanding properties such as high strength, low weight, and excellent rigidity. These features ensure precise material guidance, reduce vibrations, and prevent wrinkling and stretching of the material. They also impress with their robust and compact design, capable of withstanding high loads in various industrial environments.

Our innovative draw rollers are used in a wide range of industries, including:

  • Packaging industry
  • Printing industry
  • Plastics industry
  • Textile industry
  • Film industry
  • Metal foil production and finishing
  • Steel industry
  • Battery production

Thanks to their flexible application possibilities and outstanding properties, our CFRP and aluminium draw rollers offer tailor-made solutions for the highest demands.

Draw rollers made of aluminium & CFRP/GRP – all advantages at a glance

With our flexible and high-quality product families, we can optimally combine process reliability with individual design and dynamic requirements. Our draw rollers are also designed to generate high web tensions, which are essential for applications such as coating, laminating and finishing materials.

The advantages of INOMETA draw rollers include

  • Maintenance-free bearings
  • Lowest starting torques
  • Tight shape and bearing tolerance
  • Precise surface finishes from smooth to rough surfaces
  • Customized configuration of tension rollers, including sizes, coatings, materials
  • High web tension for precise positioning and fixing
  • Use of high-quality materials for long running times, high rigidity and high wear resistance
  • Low weight and low mass moment of inertia for fast acceleration and braking
  • Precise and constant tensile force on the material webs
  • Low shrinkage behavior and good damping properties
  • High operational reliability and minimized downtimes
  • High energy efficiency and easy integration into existing systems
