For us, family friendliness goes without saying
Getting the right balance between family and work is very important to us, something for which we were honoured as a family-friendly company in 2017 and 2019, 2020 and 2021 for the fourth time in succession. And for very good reasons: Besides flexible working hours and attractive regulations on mobile work, we offer attractive shift patterns in production and flexible working hours with short core working times in our administration. We also pay bonuses for weddings and when a child is born, and have very non-bureaucratic rules for full- and part-time parental leave. As well as the regular 30 days annual leave you can apply for up to 8 additional leave days and can claim compassionate leave in special cases.
We care about your health
The health of our employees is something we care about, today more than ever. That’s why we have a health management scheme which ranges from flu vaccination through advice on ergonomics to supporting staff who want to quit smoking. We offer staff our company bicycle model, work with a local fitness studio and provide free-of-charge water coolers. Our health days are highly popular and our experienced OIM team together with our company doctor takes care of individual improvements at the workplace.
Our success is the result of outstanding teamwork
The French author Jean de la Fontaine (1621-1695) believed that helping one another was a law of nature. We couldn’t agree more, and we see it as our duty to encourage team work. This functions best with a strong sense of community. As well as our annual Christmas celebration we organise a popular summer festival. As the ‘INOMETA in Motion’ team we also take part in local fun runs for which INOMETA naturally pays the entry fee and fits its staff out with high-quality sports wear. Our football team meets regularly and makes its contribution to our great community spirit.
The whole is more than the sum of its parts, as they say. Or to put it another way: no one is as good alone as in a team. We believe that working teams are important because human interaction delivers great ideas and creative paths. We pursue an agile project management approach and have set up an Innovation Lab and a Creative Lab for this purpose. To ensure that young people too can embrace these fundamental concepts, trainers and trainees regularly undertake external activities for which they can use our trainee workshop. On our trainee island our commercial trainees can learn together using the latest machines and 3D printers.
