Compared to traditional materials such as steel or aluminium, fiber-reinforced composites can offer advantages in terms of weight and energy efficiency in certain applications. Recycling fiber-reinforced composites is technically feasible, but more complex than recycling conventional metals; we are continuously working to further develop our recycling processes. Plastics made with bio-resin and natural fibers sometimes contain renewable raw materials.
