At K2019, INOMETA will be focusing heavily on its customers\u2019 applications. In all business areas, INOMETA will be presenting functional surfaces and special coatings developed for use in the films, converting and printing industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What can we expect from INOMETA with regards to functional surfaces at this year\u2019s K trade fair in D\u00fcsseldorf?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This year, we will be presenting application-oriented coating solutions for rollers that are used throughout the value chain. From film production to coating, laminating, printing, winding and cutting. When presenting these solutions, we will discuss these processes in detail and perform demonstrations at various displays to showcase what our special solutions can do. Visitors to the stand can look forward to a wide range of exciting products that will be used to explain the relevant application solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No roller without its coating. Can you describe the range of surface technology products and services that INOMETA now offers its customers?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

INOMETA has a very diverse range of products and services in this segment. We operate highly modern coating systems for thermal spraying and use sophisticated casting and winding methods and furnace technology. Our impressive machine technology enables us to equip rotationally symmetrical with a wide range of materials. These include ceramics, carbides and metal alloys, as well as composites, polymers and fluoropolymers. Our focus is always on coating roller substrates made of steel, aluminium and CFRP\/GFRP in line with the typical INOMETA quality standards and precision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Does INOMETA also develop customer-specific surfaces to solve a specific problem?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is part of our day-to-day business. The ever-changing requirements involved in our customers\u2019 processes means that we have to constantly develop our range of coating products and services. We are happy to make these developments and take pride in every assignment in which we are able to work together with our customers to find the right solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you describe the process by which customers decide on the right surface and how their rollers should be equipped with this surface?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It would be great if there were a defined process that made it possible to choose the best coating system for the relevant applications every time. In practice, however, it is slightly more complicated than this. In many cases, this process involves us meeting several times with our customers to look over the application as a whole, and then working together with the customer to find the best solution. The benefit we offer over other companies is that we have many years of experience in applications from different sectors and a massive range of coating products and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
