America. China. India. Herford. From early on in our history, size has been a key part of our vision. This not only applies to our own manufacturing dimensions, which now enable the production of large rollers of up to 15 metres, but we even made large formats available internationally over 40 years ago. Back then, it was a huge challenge, but it is now part of our day-to-day business. Our aim has always been to fit machines with high-precision roller products \u2013 regardless of whether those machines are being operated in America, China, India or Europe. That has never changed. It is why our colleagues started travelling to international markets right back in the early 90s to sell aluminium and CFRP rollers, coatings and other lightweight components, all made in Germany. \u201cI have fond memories of the early 90s. One situation in particular has stayed with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had travelled to America to see a potential customer and had a large projector in my hand luggage that filled an entire suitcase. Hard to imagine in today\u2019s fast-paced digital world, but it was quite normal back then. We wanted to do a fantastic product presentation for the US customer and offer even better product quality. So we didn\u2019t hold back on expense or effort,\u201d explained Bernd Heese, who is responsible for international sales. Today, of course, we have other presentation options available, enabling us to be much more sustainable and eco-friendly. But we still go to great efforts to provide our customers with as much information as possible, so they can select the best rollers for their application. These days, global orders for large rollers are no longer seen as something exotic. We are now one of the top international suppliers of large rollers and other components for the paper, film, printing and packing industries. Our in-house manufacturing, product quality and unique expertise in lightweight design bring customers from all over the world to us in Herford \u2013 in the heart of East Westphalia.<\/p>\n\n\n
